Auditory VerbalUK is a national charity, which teaches deaf babies and children to listen and speak using Auditory Verbal Therapy, so that they can achieve their potential in life.
We were able to raise £2,750 thanks to the generosity of OYPS members and the enthusiasm of our members in getting stuck into our charity events. In July 2015 we saw people take part in our Sponsored bike ride/walk. 9 cyclists rode 80km, 6 cyclists rode 40km and our walkers walked 10km. It was a great day culminating in a delicious BBQ at The Fishes, North Hinksey, which was sponsored by Penningtons Manches LLP.
We have previously supported Oxford Homeless Pathways (OxHoP) and over the course of two years we raised over £2,500 from a combination of events including sleeping rough for the night and a 26mile walk along the RidgeWay.
