This is the start of our OYPS year where we welcome graduates and young professionals who have moved to Oxford and the surrounding area. We also welcome existing members to renew their membership.

At this event you will be able to find out who we are and what we do. We will have information on our planned events for the 2017/2018 year, find out about our charity and pay for membership (only £25 for the year). However, if you sign up between 1 October 2017 and 30 November 2017, membership is only £20 for the year

There will be a FREE glass of Prosseco on arrival for the first 40 attendees and light snacks will be provided.

This will be a free event, but please sign up via Eventbrite so that we can cater for the right numbers.

Join the Oxford Young Professional Society (OYPS) today. From 1 October 2017 – 30 November 2017 membership is just £20 for one year. Thereafter it will be £25 for the year.

Membership will mean you get FREE entry to at least two events per year and discounted tickets to most other events we run. Our year runs from October to October.

The Oxford Young Professionals Society (“OYPS”) is a local professional organisation that provides a ‘forum’ for graduates and junior members of staff (ie non Senior Managers/ Directors/Partners) to learn how to network. We hold both professional development and fun events during the year.

Regular attendees include people from (amongst others): Freeths LLP, Grant Thornton, Pennington Manches, Carter Jonas, Withy King, Knights 1759, Shaw Gibbs, Ridge, Savills and Blake Morgan.

Networking is an important skill set to develop as part of your career progression as eventually it will not only build up your own professional contacts, but it may also lead to referrals (both in and out) as well as giving you the ability to pick up the phone direct to someone with a legal, property or other query.
